Grace K. Wickersham
Ms. Wickersham, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist for Carpenter & Company, joined the firm in 1991. She serves as lead economic analyst for the firm and the Carpenter Community BancFund and is a project manager in the bank consulting practice. During her 20 years with Carpenter & Company, Ms. Wickersham served as project manager on a number of the asset management and corporate liquidation contracts with the Resolution Trust Corporation. She has also been a lead advisor on a number of new bank applications.
Prior to joining Carpenter & Company, Ms. Wickersham served as Chief Economist and Director of Corporate Planning for Glendale Federal Bank, then California’s fifth largest savings and loan. She began her banking career with Security Pacific National Bank, primarily in the Research and Economics Department where she attained the position of Vice President in the bank’s macroeconomic forecasting area.
In addition to her responsibilities at Carpenter & Company, Ms. Wickersham was an Economic Consultant for The Aerospace Corporation, a think tank for the U.S. Air Force, a consulting economist to the UCLA Business Forecasting Project, a member of the Economic Advisory Committee to the State of California’s Department of Finance, and a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Business Economics (NABE).
Ms. Wickersham graduated from the University of Southern California with a Masters of Art degree in Economics and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Mount St. Mary’s College of Los Angeles. She is a Trustee of Mount St. Mary’s College and is a past President of the college’s Alumnae Association.
